A: Absolutely! This is where things get really exciting for me because I’ve seen the direct impact these tools have. Beyond the usual suspects, one area I’ve found revolutionary is advanced psychometric and skills-based assessment platforms.

A: This is probably the biggest challenge and opportunity we face today, and it’s something I wrestle with in almost every session! My personal approach boils down to two main pillars: continuous learning and focusing on truly human skills.
First, we need to instill a “growth mindset” in our clients. The idea that their education isn’t “done” when they get a degree is crucial. I guide them to explore online learning platforms – think Coursera, LinkedIn Learning, or specific industry academies – where they can gain certifications in emerging technologies or methodologies relevant to their field.
We make a plan to dedicate a certain amount of time each week or month to skill development. Second, and perhaps even more important, is emphasizing the skills AI can’t replicate (at least not yet!).
We’re talking about critical thinking, creativity, complex problem-solving, emotional intelligence, adaptability, and truly effective communication. I help clients identify how they can hone these “soft” yet incredibly powerful skills in their current roles or through volunteer work.
We also focus on understanding transferable skills – how their experience in one area can be reframed and applied to a completely different, emerging industry.
